Phone Conversation with Amy

I called Amy last night and she is doing fine. She said her trip from Senegal was long but uncomplicated. It's very relaxing in France and she is enjoying Sisi's company. The weather is cool which is a welcome relief from the heat in Senegal.

Amy and Sisi will depart for Barc (in the Normandy region) today. They do not plan to partake in any of the festivities associated with the 60th anniversary of D-Day, although Amy would love to march in protest against G. W. Bush's visit.
