Amy phoned me from Dakar at midnight her time. She had good flights but ran into red tape, compliments of Air France. There were issues regarding the validity of her ticket as well as the weight of her luggage. Nonetheless, she worked through it and was greeted in Dakar by Papis Mane and Moussa. They went out to dinner and had a fabulous time. The weather there is cool but she expects it to be quite hot when she heads south.
