Whalen J. Laurence, Roger

Whalen, or Jim, is a Maryland graduate who took a lengthy detour into technical theatre, a journey that lead him to New York where he reignited his acting fire at Herbert Berghoff Studios, studying there with Austin Pendelton and Jim Boerlin.  His most recent theatre work was in Cripple of Inishmaan (Babbybobby) with Everyman Theatre in Baltimore, Caucasian Chalk Circle (Irakli / The Monk) with Open Circle Theatre Company.  New York credits include, The Ninth Circle (Ian), Marrow (Daniel), Hurlyburly (Phil), Freakin’ Guiliani (Nick Brida), and Burn This (Burton).  His most recent film work was Touch of Glass (Glassman) with Big Rock Films, and Imbroglio (Vincenzo) directed by Walter Strafford.  He is a proud member of Screen Actors Guild and Actor’s Equity.
